S. B. Bosworth (American, Hartford, CT, 29th century), late 19th century. A 4-gallon salt glazed stoneware crock, cylindrical in form, having a rolled rim and two applied lug handles, with a tooled shoulder and a slip decorated cobalt floral design. Stamped with manufacturer's mark and "4" near rim. Approximate height 11", diameter (excluding handles) 11".
