F. B. Norton & Co. (American, Worcester, Massachusetts, founded 1858), second half 19th century. A four-gallon salt glazed stoneware jar or churn, having a rolled rim, a tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and a slip decorated cobalt parrot design. Impressed manufacturer's mark and "4" to neck. Approximate height 15.75", diameter 9".
