Circle of William Joseph Shayer (English 1811-1892), "Landscape with Figures by Water", oil on wood board, apparently unsigned. Painting depicting a charming landscape with rolling purple mountains in horizon with green trees by an expanse of water with cows cooling and drinking near a path with male figure on horseback by a woman traveling with her children conversing with a man with fishing pole and dog adjacent to a grass cliff with resting sheep. Framed 12.75" x 15.75". Unframed 8" x 11".
