Miniature Great Wheel Skeleton Clock, France, c. 1840, a modified inverted "Y" frame with joined half-moon legs, silvered roman numeral dial and blued-steel gothic hands, turned five-pillar spring-powered movement with going barrel attached to great wheel with the same joined half-moon patterns as the wheel crossings, four-wheel train with cut pinions, recoil escapement and silk thread pendulum with adjustable regulation thumbpiece, all on a felt-lined turned wooden pedestal and under a glass shade, ht. with shade and pedestal 9 in.
