Revere, Paul (1735-1818) Engraved Bookplate of William Wetmore. Engraved bookplate signed "Revere sc." featuring clusters of flowers and plant stems surrounding a shield and crest, at the top of the crest are three birds facing left, at the helm is a bird with its wings extended, the ribbon scroll beneath reads 'Tentada Via Est' and engraved beneath, 'William Wetmore' the plate is signed in lower right, printed in blue ink, still attached to a book board, matted, the sheet 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 in.
