Warre, Henry James (1819-1898) Sketches in North America and the Oregon Territory. London: Dickinson & Co., [1848]. First edition, colored issue, folio; title page, five pages of introduction, and one blank leaf, followed by twenty hand-colored lithographic views on sixteen sheets and one map; bound in contemporary half dark green morocco and marbled paper boards, rebacked and resewn, a family copy, inscribed "H. Warre, Fyne Court, Bridgewater" inside front board, housed in a custom box, some signs of handling, 20 x 13 1/4 in. The order of the plates varies. In this copy, they are presented as follows: 1.
