Verdi, Giuseppe (1813-1901) Autograph Musical Manuscript with Five Bars from La Traviata , Signed, Venice, 9 March 1853. Single sheet of wove paper inscribed on one page. Verdi has transcribed five measures from La Traviata , which had just debuted in Venice in March of the same year, signed and dated at the foot. Some toning, mat burn, old folds, 10 1/4 x 7 1/4 in.
