Ibsen, Henrik (1828-1906) Autograph Letter Signed, Gossensass, Tyrol, 4 July 1883. Two leaves of wove paper inscribed over all four pages. To Emma Klingenfeld (1846-1935), one of Ibsen's authorized German translators, sending a new edition of The Feast at Solhaug (not present), and offering advice regarding a German theater production of the work, finding a publisher, and suggesting that she not translate the preface. Old folds, some a bit tender, or starting to tear, the paper slightly mottled and toned, 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 in.
