To Thomas Wilson, Cashier of the Second Bank of the United States in Philadelphia, written as Secretary of State; asking that the proceeds from the sale of a ship sold at an auction in Barcelona be sent to the deceased ship owner's widow. Old folds, edge-toning, lingering remnant of old mount, clean, water-marked sheet, without sealing wax; no postage marks on address panel, 9 x 7 1/2 in. folded.
