A group of documents including a circular letter produced by a ditto machine (or other spirit duplicator) with a copy of Theodore Roosevelt's signature; an exercise book from the late 18th century with samples of surveying problems; a Confederate railroad pass; a letter from the treasurer of the South-western railroad company dated 18 February 1852, to Governor Joseph Brown of Georgia explaining that a dividend check was not sent during the last period due to low earnings; autograph letter signed by Joseph Brown 30 May 1863, addressed to his brother, asking him to hire a nurse, and inquiring after other business related to the hospital; a petition from Civil War soldiers' wives; an encrypted cablegram attributed to Taft; and two military telegraphs sent from John J. Pershing 28 December 1909. (9)
