French, 20th century. Reproduction figural art tapestry after "Le Portique de Junon (The Portico of Juno)". Cotton textile with printed color scene with female deity at center of cartouche with curtained swags and floral garlands throughout , peacocks on footed urns on sides, nude putti playing music below and patterned borders throughout. Verso of work with label "MADE IN FRANCE" that reads "Cette reproduction de tapisserie realisee a la main dans notre atelier s'intitule: "Le Portuque de Junon". L'original est conserve au Musee de Chicago et il a ete tisse au XVIII-Siecle. Cet exemplaire est le numero GV05." Overall measures approximately 56.5" x 42".
