Letterpress broadside printed less than a month after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln for a show at Boston's Tremont Temple. The conjurer and ventriloquist promises "half of the Gross receipts of the house being given to the Ladies of Boston, towards paying a testimonial for Mrs. Lincoln to express the Nation's gratitude to her lamented husband." At bottom, the printed endorsement of Thomas A. Doyle, mayor of Providence, Rhode Island, and other officials. Minor old folds, marginal foxing. 12 _ x 6". A-.
