A pair of Prince's notebook pages with working lyrics for the song "Happy Birthday, Mr. Christian." On the back of the second page Prince has drawn a humorous cartoon of himself at a piano swearing and an image of a woman at a microphone saying "Sorry." The cartoon is titled "A Day With Apollonia." The lyrics are written in pencil and pen on lined paper. They come from a notebook Prince left behind at the St. Paul Civic Center. Prince had rented out the venue for rehearsals in preparation for the Purple Rain Tour. The song "Mr. Christian" was written for and recorded by Apollonia 6 for their self-titled album released in 1984. 10 1/2 by 8 inches Categories: Prince
