William Wegman (American, b. 1943) Dendra . Numbered, titled, signed, and dated "39/50...William Wegman 97" in ink on the verso along the bottom edge. Chromogenic print, image size 5 3/4 x 9 in. (14.5 x 22.8 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Small areas of adhesive residue in u.l. and u.r. corners. N.B. William Wegman was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and received his BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He has a lifelong connection to Maine where he first went as a teenager, and since 1978 has split his time between the Rangeley Lakes region and New York City.
