Victor Vasarely (Hungarian/French, 1908-1997) Air France/Amérique du Sud , 1946, published by Perceval, Paris. Identified within the matrix. Color lithographic poster, image size 37 3/4 x 23 1/4 in. (95.7 x 59.0 cm), framed. Condition: Minor soiling and corner creases to margins, not examined out of frame. N.B. Vasarely moved to Paris in 1930. Although he had been successful in his native Hungary, the move required that he work as a graphic artist while building his reputation in his new city. This is the only poster he created for Air France.
