After Hendrick Adriaan van Rheede (Dutch, c. 1637-c.1691) Fifteen Hand-colored Botanical Prints Unsigned, titled in four languages in the plates. Hand-colored engravings on watermarked laid paper, plate sizes 13 3/8 x 17 5/8 in. (34.0 x 44.5 cm), four framed, eleven unmatted and unframed. Condition: Center creases, minor toning and staining, nicks, small tears, and wear to edges of sheets, four not examined out of frames. N.B. The majority of the prints appear to be from Hortus Indicus Malabaricus .
