Sullivan, Tyler & Company, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1855, Thomas dressed in a top hat with dark overcoat, Valentine depicted wearing a high collar overcoat, (minor imperfections), ht. 2 1/2, wd. 2 in. Note: Thomas Valentine Sullivan (1800-1859) started the first YMCA in America. which was housed in the Old South Church, Boston. Valentine O. Sullivan was Thomas's grandfather.
