Needlework Mourning Picture "Wrought by Susanna Richmond 1806," probably Westport, Massachusetts, c. 1806, worked in silk threads on a silk ground, a woman stands over the marker inscribed "To the Memory of Perez Richmond," with a small round temple visible beyond, the eglomise mat with the maker's name and date embellished with gilt scrolls, (very minor rippling to background), overall 20 1/2 x 17 in., including the molded giltwood frame.
