18th century painted by Pierre-Theodore Buteux (active 1765-1784) with fruit and flowers against a white ground within a gilt-highlighted cobalt border with three cartouches depicting exotic birds. Diameter 9 3/4 inches. Property from a Chicago Collector, Formerly of Lake Forest, Illinois Good condition without chips, cracks or restoration. Some light scratches, residue and lightly rubbed gilt consistent with age. Examination under UV light did not reveal any condition issues. Additional images available upon request.
