THREE PRE-PRODUCTION LETTERS REGARDING THE PBS SERIES COSMOS CIRCA 1978/1979 A set of three KCET stationery letters and envelopes circa 1978 and 1979 pertaining to the 13-hour television series Cosmos (KCET, 1980), which was narrated by Carl Sagan and originally aired on Public Broadcasting Stations in the U. S. All three letters are from Project Director and Producer Gregory P. Andorfer, regarding sound composition. The three letters – dated August 2, 1978; October 12, 1978; and June 1, 1979 – are addressed to synthesist Dennis Lee Askew, who had provided the pre-production team with examples of his work.
