Paolo Soleri (Italian/American,1919-2013) for Cosanti Arcosanti (Yavapai County, Arizona, founded 1970), late 20th century. A pair of special edition Care for Wildlife cast bronze and copper Brutalist style Cause Bells, having a single large bell suspended from a cast pelican holding a chime, a suspended cut triangular fin below, and verdi gris patina. Each stamped "wildlife" with foundry mark. Approximate height 27.5", diameter 5.125".
