Continental, late 19th/ early 20th century. A pair of petite bronze candlesticks in the Neoclassical style and the form of period street gas lamps comprising tripod scrolled base raised on tripartite green marble plinth and issuing armored lion knees joined by figural masks, surmounted with fluted and acanthine central stem topped with single candle cup adorned with acanthus leaf details. Unmarked. Approximate height 11.375", width of base 3.125".
