French, late 19th century. A French parcel gilt black slate with inlaid marble mantle clock topped by stone urn form with elaborate gilt bronze scrolled acanthus arms, clock flanked on either side by gilt bronze scrolled acanthus, with incised gilt decoration throughout, with circular glazed hinged door with gilt metal egg and dart bezel around white clock face with black Arabic numerals, with four gilt bronze lion's paw feet. Apparently unmarked. With key. Overall approximately 22" x 15.5" x 6.425".
