Two French portrait vanity items; one a small glass jar with circular female portrait opening to an conforming inset mirror in the hinged lid on a clear squat body; the other a gilt metal box oval in form with hand painted portrait of a elegant lady opening to a velvet lined interior. Neither apparently marked. Approximate height of small jar 1". Approximate height of oval box 1", width 2.75", depth 2.37".
