Ludwig Moser & Sohne (Karlovy Vary /Carlsbad, 1893-1922), circa 1902. A fine set of ten crystal champagne coupe glasses, clear, cut and intaglio decorated in the "Bearded Iris" pattern, each having a gilt border decorated with chevron and dot pattern over the bowl optically ribbed and symmetrically engraved with a bearded iris to one side, the other with the engraved monogram "HED" for Horace Elgin Dodge, raised on a hexagonal stem with horizontal wedge cuts and terminating on a circular foot finished with a gilt band enhanced with diaper pattern. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 6.5". Provenance: Purchased by the current owner directly from the Rose Terrace House Sale, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan; The Property of the late MRS. ANNA THOMSON DODGE; CHRISTIE’S, September 27, 28 and 29, 1971. Owner was present for the sale and the above lot was offered as an addendum by the family and not included in the auction catalog.
