Chamberlain (English (Worcester), founded 1783-), circa early 19th century. Two fine porcelain serving pieces in the "Dragon in Compartments" pattern, each a demilune shaped lidded vegetable dish hand painted with an Orientalist motif in tones of red, green, blue, and pink to a white ground with traditional Chinese motif of fu dogs, dragons, peony blossoms, diaper patterning, and floral scrolls. Underside of each lid inscribed "Chamberlain's / Worcester / 75". Approximate height 4.25", width 12.5", depth 8.25". Note: Chamberlain merged with Flight, Barr & Barr in 1840.
