Five Star Final Wood Rail Countertop Pinball Machine. Chicago, Illinois: D. Gottlieb & Co., ca. 1932. Unusual because it has no coin entry. Player probably paid the bartender or operator a penny or nickel then pulled a metal rod out to release the balls. May very well have been an early version. The movie Five Star Final came out in 1931 and was up for an academy award. No glass. 28 _ x 15 _ x 6 _.
