Patriotic Sparkling Celebration Pistol. New York: Marx Toys Co., 1930s. Pressed steel and painted toy gun that originally made siren noise and sparks. Decal is reminiscent of the 1876 Spirit of '76 painting by Archibald McNeal Willard. Scarce. 7 long. General scratching and scuffing to paint and decal, oxidation on exposed metal parts. Not working. Fair.
