of tapering form, depicting flowers of the four seasons with birds perched atop, above a border of upright lappet leaves, the flat shoulder painted with foliate scrolls below decorative bands to the everted mouth, signed Cheng Yiting (1895-1948), the underside bearing a three-character peigu zhai hall mark. Height 25 1/4 inches. Overall good condition with no apparent chips, hairlines or restoration. Light surface scratches to the panels and light wear to the edges.
