A pair of black leather ice skates owned by Truman Capote. The skates are branded "Saga." Together with white leather blade covers embossed "Fagen British Made." Size 7. Capote was an excellent ice skater and was documented skating in a 1959 photograph by Alfred Eisenstadt. Together with a copy of Eisenstaedt's Witness to our Time (New York: The Viking Press, 1966) with a Truman Capote library stamp.
