A red crepe dance costume made for and believed to have been worn in Love Is Better than Ever (MGM, 1951). The fitted costume has a bias label that reads "#3 1524 7985- Eliz. Taylor" and an MGM dry cleaning tag. Post-production alterations are present. Costume design by Helen Rose. The costume was acquired at the David Weisz & Co. MGM Auction after sale in 1970. Accompanied by a copy of the film and two sequin embellished ribbons that are not original to the costume. Categories: Elizabeth Taylor
