Shaker Tin Spout Cup and Strainer, late 19th century, the straight-sided cup with applied handle over seam, applied spout over round hole cut into the side of the cup, set 90 degrees around the rim from handle, rim folded over and soldered, ht. 3 7/8, dia. 4 1/4; the strainer with curved sides to bowl on straight foot, inset strainer has irregular pattern of cutout holes, no seam on bowl or foot, 3 1/2-in. long hollow flared handle with a hole for hanging, ht. 1 3/4, lg. 7 1/4, dia. of bowl 4 1/4 in. Note: Strainer probably from Canterbury, New Hampshire.
