Group of three red lacquered hand painted hinged lidded boxes comprising of a larger hinged rectangular box with figural fairy tale like imagery of regal courting couple in elaborate outdoor garden setting with architectural accents in hues of gold, red, green and black, surrounded by a dotted border and one of gold and black scrollwork, with matching scrollwork along the base of the box, with red lacquer interior, signed on lower left lid in Cyrillic, incribed on back "Made in USSR", 6.5" x 5.5" x 1.5"; a small hinged casket form box with figural imagery within a landscape setting, possible depicting the "Sleeping Princess" from Puskin's "Sleeping Princess and the Seven Bogatyrs", including a knight on horseback, a woman with fruit, and a white jumping dog, with a gold dotted border, with red lacquer interior, signed on lower lid in Cyrillic, 4.5" x 2.75" x 1.25"; a rectangular lidded box with battlement scene depicting soldiers on horseback, with a leader on white horse in green cloak spearing a stylized golden sun with his sword, signed on lower lid in Cyrillic, inscribed on back "Made in USSR", 4.75" x 3.25" x 1.25".
