Chinese Flame Clock. Pennsylvania: Ed Massey, ca. 1959. A candle placed in a cabinet is trisected by two large knives. When the doors of the box are opened, the center of the candle has vanished even though its flame still burns brightly. The process is reversed and the candle is removed unharmed. Cabinet 13 high. Finish worn.
