Von Schierholz (German, founded 1817). A figural group Blanc de Chine sculpture depicting a prince or king on horseback, holding the finely rendered reins in his left hand and the drawstring of his robe in his right, the horse with elegantly braided tail, the base with low relief scrolled acanthus to edges, underside with indistinct green maker's mark for Von Schierholz. Overall approximately 20.5" x 17" x 7".
