After Meissen (German, founded 1710). A group of two ceramic models of parrots after the originals by noted German porcelain manufacturer Meissen (German, founded 1710), each sculpture depicting a tropical parrot perched on a a tree stump, each parrot with gilt collars and colorful wings tucked back, one parrot with red, yellow and blue plumage, the other with red, blue and green plumage, each stump with two high relief orange fruits (likely citrus) and low relief flowers with green foliage, each with maker's mark with blue crossed swords. "Red Parrot" overall approximately 16" x 9.5" x 7". "Green Parrot" overall approximately 16.75" x 9.5" x 8".
