After Pierre-Jules Mêne (French, 1810-1879), circa early 20th century. A cast bronze sculpture depicting a hound dog striding atop a naturalistic integral oval base, the figure with left fore arm bent upward and neck arching backward toward tail, altogether to a separable black marble rectangular plinth base. Approximate overall height 5.25", width 10.625", depth 5.75".
