Continental School, 19th century. "Lakeside Village", oil on unstretched canvas, apparently unsigned. Figural landscape painting depicting several figures on the shore of a serene lake in the foreground, with a village just across with lake with a tall church steeple, the village nestled below a tall mountain range that rises steeply from the banks of the calm lake below. Framed approximately 17" x 15.25". Sight approximately 9.5" x 11.25".
