French, early 20th century. An opaline and gilt metal mounted dresser, casket or trinket box in chest form and having hinged lid and rectangular body with canted corners, surmounted to each corner with turned gilt metal finial within gilt metal banding, the sides mounted with twist bail handles, the whole resting on four leafy scrolled bracket feet. Apparently not marked. Approximate height 5.12", width 6.5" (foot to foot), depth 4.5" (foot to foot).
