Wedgwood (English, 1759-), mid-20th century. Set of 97 pieces of Florentine Turquoise, including 14 dinner plates, 12 salad plates, 11 bread plates, 4 soup bowls, 16 tea cups and saucers, and 12 demitasse cups and saucers. Each decorated in a Neoclassical motif with a pale blue band of mystical creatures and acanthus leaves, with a colorful central bouquet. All pieces marked "Wedgwood Bone China Made in England" beneath a two-handled urn. Dinner plate approximate diameter 11.75".
