An unusual Louis XVI style gilt bronze six light chandelier, after a similar design by Pierre Gouthiere (French, 1732-1813), having six leaf and paterae cast scrolling branch corona issuing three chains above the flambeau and fruit filled urn and fluted column standard issuing six eagle headed spiral leaf and paterae cast scrolling arm supports decorated with grape clusters and headed with turned bobeches and candlesleeves, the whole terminating in drop pinecone finial. Approximate height 38", diameter 18".
