English, 18/th19th century. An unusual leather and velvet upholstered cigar chair, having a curved back and winged shoulders upholstered in leather and inset with tacked velvet, squared arms with tucked leather upholstery, inset with wood panels and fitted with carved front loper cigar drawers, a cushioned velvet seat and back, and carved Spanish feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 37", width 36", seat depth 23.5", seat to floor 16.5".
