Continental, late 20th century. A contemporary Greek Revival style stained wood settee, having a curved backrest with a molded crest rail above a simulated marquetry inlay veneered frieze depicting Greek athletes on a dark background with a geometric border, flanked by pierced and foliated giltwood acanthus roundels, with a lower pierced back, curving torch form fluted armrests, a floral upholstered seat, a simulated marquetry inlay veneered apron, and tapered and fluted front legs. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 39", width 54", seat depth 23.5", seat to floor 19".
