Two Meissen style figural porcelain groups; one depicting a partially nude muse, her left hand holding a flower to her nose, her right hand clutching a single rose, at her side a smiling cherub or putto carrying a reticulated and floral filled oval basket on head both standing a floral decorated and gilt heightened rococo style base with four scrolled, leafy feet. Approximate height 11.25" width 5.5". The other sculpture a figure of a nude muse emblematic of sight, standing beside an eagle, holding a telescope to her eye, a cherub or putto next to her holding spectacles in one hand, a lantern in another, various attributes on the floral decorated rococo base, raised on four scrolled leafy feet. Approximate height 12.5", width 6". Both marked to the underside with circle containing pinwheel in underglaze blue.
