Late 20th century. A contemporary Louis XV-style kingswood and rosewood marquetry veneered bureau plat, having a scalloped serpentine shaped top banded with rocaille above a conforming skirt with allover floral marquetry, fitted to one side with a center drawer flanked with two short drawers, each adorned with foliate and rocaille handles, raised on cabriole legs headed with foliate mounts and terminating in scrolled sabots. Also with a tooled leather top. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 32.5", width 48", depth.26.75"
