Hand embroidered horizontal framed silk textile panel, possibly a Chao Pao fragment from a dragon robe with central metallic gold thread serpentine five-clawed dragon, set against a black background above mountains with scrolling clouds and interspersed symbols, including several of the Eight Auspicious Objects, including the endless knot, a treasure vase, and a goldfish, as well as branches, fruits, and bats, signifying happiness and joy, in an early Qing Dynasty design. In a gold frame with a fretwork hook. Unmarked. Approximate (framed) height 10.5", width 23", depth .6".
