Manner of Gerbrand van den Eeckhout (Dutch, 1621-1674) Susanna and the Elders Unsigned, identified on handwritten labels affixed to the back of the frame. Oil on panel, 19 5/8 x 33 7/8 in. (50.2 x 86.0 cm), unframed. Condition: Panel with a horizontal break through the middle, old repairs to the reverse of the panel, losses to the panel front, skinning, abrasions. Provenance: The estate of Wayne Beam Morrell (1923-2013), Rockport, Massachusetts. N.B. Wayne Morrell was a landscape painter of the Cape Ann School. A frame accompanies the lot.
