17th/18th century in two parts, the superstructure having an arched cornice centered by a shell motif over two conforming doors, each painted to show a nautical scene, the base fitted with three long drawers and painted sans traverse depicting a similar scene, raised on scroll feet. Height 86 x width 51 x depth 20 inches. Property from the Estate of William Moulis, Geneva, Illinois In decent, stable condition. Painted finish mostly intact but with craquelure throughout and scattered chips and losses exposing wood. Doors to top open and close smoothly, to to left as viewed with repaired/braced split. Interior painted and partially papered. Interior drawers lacking pulls. Pulls to lower three drawers replaced. Middle of lower three drawers missing lock, other two with locks, but no keys.
