each raised on squared cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Height 33 1/2 inches. Overall decent and stable condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with heavy use. One seat having a 1 foot long age split, but it doesn't seem to effect the strength of the seat. The crest of one chair shows signs of restoration where it joins the horseshoe arms. Likely mid to late 19th century.
