WILLIAM IV STERLING TEA & COFFEE SET BY CHARLES FOX, LONDON, 1835-36, FOUR PIECES:Hand chased sterling silver set includes 1 teapot and 1 coffee pot, H. 9", with floriform finials, 1 sugar bowl and 1 creamer, both with gilt wash interiors. Hallmarks include a lion passant, uncrowned leopard, king's profile, date letter "u", and maker's mark "CF" for Charles Fox (see additional photos). Provenance: Purchased from I. Franks of London, February 1983. From the collection of Mr. Arthur Roshak, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
